Watercare needed to replace a section of the main eastern interceptor sewer line to enable the Sylvia Park retail complex to be built.
This involved a range of complex bends and offsets in PE 450mm PN12 with various air valve tees at the high points in the lines.
The job was done by Basset Plumbing and Drainage and involved a close working relationship between the contractor, Watercare and Solo Plastics as they constructed the line to avoid the many service ducts and obstacles around the perimeter of the site. The pipeline diversion was completed late 2005
